Little House Art

Colleen Sullivan

Colleen is a printmaker and painter working in the Bay Area. As a printmaker, her work is spontaneous and experiemental - atypicial for most printmakers, whereby editioning is a strong motivator. On the contrary, Ms. Sullivan prefers the flexibility of monotyping, which offers a great deal of freedom and diversity. In painting, combining different materials, such as acrylic, graphite, ink collage, oil stick or pastel, she uses whatever it takes to express the mark convincingly. That is the goal; that is the spirit! Ms. Sullivan maintains an art studio in Redwood City, (www.project275.com), with seven (7) artists and the on-site gallery, Branner-Spangenberg. She is a member of the California Society of Printmakers.
